Designed for Destiny is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and women's shelter rooted in the heart of Virginia Beach, Virginia. We exist to walk alongside women who are navigating the darkest moments of their lives — providing safety, compassion, and a pathway to healing.
We believe every woman is designed with purpose and deserves to live her destiny free from fear, abuse, and isolation. Our doors are open to women of all backgrounds, ages, and circumstances. Here, you will find a community that sees you, honors you, and stands with you.
Founded on the principles of unity and strength, we offer transitional housing, counseling referrals, legal advocacy resources, and life-skills programming — all within a nurturing, trauma-informed environment.
